Lake Garda covers about 300 square miles and is an impressive body of water to say the least. The castle and walled city of Serimone guards the Southern end of the lake. Today it is a tourist hot-spot with crowded streets and little shops. The drive around the Western shoreline was punctuated by vistas of this mountain lake. Riva del Garda and Nago sit at the Northern end.
