The Etschtal Valey runs Northward from Bolzano, Italy and boasts some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen. Barb and I spent two days enjoying the hospitality of The Pension Runer and driving around the mountain side. As you view these photos you'll need to keep reminding yourself that this really is Italy but we were just a stone's throw form the Austrian border. This territory was once Austria and the Germanic influence is still prevalant in the language, archetecture, and hospitality.
